I’ve taken it all apart a few times now. The plunger isn’t the problem. The problem is the piece that pushes the plunger in and out with the movement of the side stand seems to shift on the way up slightly causing the plunger to wiggle past. That’s why I’m wondering is the rubber sleeve on...

that's a great bike but in a totally separate category than the vmax...the max is a heavyweight muscle bike with a shaft drive and huge seat. The mt10 is competing with a huge barrage of bikes from ALL manufacturers...the max competes with just a few. that being said, if Yamaha isn't making...
