    Torque for Starter Clutch Bolts

I'm in the process of replacing the "infamous" starter clutch with the heavy duty model on "fleabay". I checked my Clymer manual and cannot find the Torque for the three starter clutch to flywheel bolts. Can anyone provide this?

No Carbtune reading on #2 carb

While the carbs were at danny's I took the opportunity to replace all the carb - manifold boots and the boost boots. I do not think any of the old boots we leaking vacuum as I performed the WD40 test and the visual crack test. So the problem I'm surer was with the #2 carb. As far as the Carbtune...

No Carbtune reading on #2 carb

I received the carbs on Friday, installed them on Saturday . Bike started right up, did not even need the enricher at all after it started. Did minor "tweaking" on the sync (which Danny said I would need to do), took bike out for a ride and it ran like new. Idles very smooth, no popping, quick...

If the cam was broken on #2: wouldn't the motor run rough?, The plug is burning just like the rest. Both #2 and #4 exhaust are basically the same temp. There is suction on the #2 throat when I palm it was running and seems to be about the same as the other 3 carbs! The motor runs fairly smooth...

Here are the results of the compression test: #4 carb has 180lbs, the rest are 177lbs and this is cols as I have the carb rack off. I left the compression gauge hooked up at each cylinder for 10 minutes with very little loss on the gauge. The only thing I can think of to do is either swap #2...

Before I do a compression test, do I have to hookup the plug wires to the spark plugs and ground the plugs to keep fro damaging the CDI?

Have the carbs off and the #2 carb separated. Took the coasting enricher apart and the diaphragm is in great shape and the is nothing in the orfices that I can see. There is some outside cracking on the carb-manifold boots but then do not go all the way through to the inside. I did order 4 new...

No Carbtune reading on #2 carb

Well, I'm going to pull the carbs and checkout #2 for vacuum problems. Wish me luck and many thanks to all for your advice. Is the a link to a good tutorial here on splitting the carbs? I have a Clymer manual but it is not that detailed!

No Carbtune reading on #2 carb

Just tried that and it has no effect on #2. I have a feeling JFeagins is right I probably blew the enricher diaphragm on 2 when I was blowing it out. If it was blown would that effect the idle below say 1200rpms?

No Carbtune reading on #2 carb

Both 2 & 4 exhaust get hot. The #2 car tune rod does move up about 1/4 inch when I blip the throttle. The other 3 got almost to the top of the carb tune.
