Had a similiar prob.recently.After tracing most wires(in headlight,under seat etc.),it turned out I had a bad rear brake light switch .When I hit the rear brake short in brake light switch would blow the fuse.Was a PITA to discover the prob.& had to order new switch from Yammi.

Rear Wheel is Sportmax from John Furbur.It is an RC Components mod'd to V max center.It is a heavy sucker,but great looking & went on easily.I also have thought like someone else said that 110/80r/18 lowers front thus shifting weight.All in all radial conversion seems like the cat's azz.THANX to...

Am almost finished restoration/mods of my '90 Max.This is my 3d Max & the first that's I've converted to radial tires.Got a Sportmax rear(18" from John) & am using stock front rim.(John @ BRM Sportmax was awesome to deal with as usual BTW).Had Avon tires installed.Storm Ultra2 frt.in 110/80r/18...

I initially did the same w/my Mark's pipes.A little bending & some shims solved the problem .

I have a RS warrior w/big bore kit etc.As Mark said MT01 has Warrior motor.I also have Stg7.'90 V Max & the max will eat the Warrior for lunch after a very short distance on launch & otherwise.

Just got Bell's new Star helmet.Has best air flow of any helmet I've owned.Awesme helmet w/a lot of high end features.MotorcycleCloseouts has it on sale for $199.Reg.price is about $550.I like it better than my Nolan N-102 or my Scorpion EXO 700.

I've had the Harbor Freight lift for 2 years & it still is going strong.I use it for both of my bikes(Warrior & Max)& for the price it's the "cats azz".

'90 w/33,000 .Oring had completely broken in 2 .Oil pressure around 20-25 @cruising rpms(4k-5k).Did Kawi O ring & Cycle one off O ring 'pop stopper'. Oil pressure now about 10 psi per 1000 rpms.

VMOA Daytona events(Biketoberfest& Bike Week) usually well attended.Usually cookout & gathering @ Boxenstopp V max shop.Gathering on Sat.during last Biketoberfest had 40-50 Maxes.Can pick up a lot of modding ideas & tips from the owners @ these events.VMOA#2103

Advance curve 5 with rev.limit @9500 works with my '90.Stage 7, Mark's pipes.Used same settings on my '05,Stage7,W/full Holeshots.
