I know there are some people here knowledgeable in electronics. Has anyone ever built a shift light, or have an idea on how to do it? There just can't be that much to it.

How critical are some of the dimensions on these solid motor mounts? I know a few of them are not, but I'm thinking mainly of the 1.100" diameter that fits in the bore in the engine. Does this need to be a friction fit or can it be a few thousandths loose? I'm not a real expert on a machinist...

Is there really any advantage to running a carburetor with a larger throttle bore area than the cross section area of the intake port? I hear of people using 39mm flat slides and such, or even larger. The stock intake port is a 30mm x 40mm oval, and at the intake surface it has a cross section...

I've done some searching around, and I've seen talk of using R1 or Keihin flatslides or similar carbs. But these carbs generally don't come in the "square four" arrangement to fit the V4 VMX engine. How would one go about getting these carbs in such an arrangement to fit this engine? I figure...
