Will I need any seals or anything?

Does anyone have a part number for the pickup coil? When I search pickup coil it shows me a governer

No one I know here has a vmax :(

I checked all wiring and nothing was kinked. Does anyone have a part number for the pickup coils? I'll just order a new one and call it a day.

So I finally had a chance to check and I had 0 ohms resistance :( So what do I need to purchase?

I'm supposed to be cranking it when checking, right?

yea I meant coil... Unless I cecked it wrong... I just connected + to orange - to black and cranked...

so unless I did something wrong my coils were showing >1 ohm

Maybe next weekend, this weekend rained the whole time, it ended at around 18:00 which was too late at that point to start working on the bike.

beside checking ohm's any other way to test the pickup coil? Also, how will I know it's bad/good... Przemek said 300 is where it should be, so if its lower than 300 is it bad?

Should the starting circuit make a click when trying to start bike? I'll try to get to it tomorrow after work and test it, I need to do a few more things on my cbr this week and it comes at a priority.

Starting circuit is the brass 12v thing next to 30a fuse, correct? So I check the Ohms on black and orange cable under the seat, I know where that is, I'll check it out.

A propo Polskiego forum, dobrze zrobiles tez bym sie nie pierdolil All fuses look good (main and the 4 of 5 under faux tank) She cranks strong, no problems with cranking. Light is bright and strong too.

STARTER SWITCH (Part # 3UF-81940-00-00) Any way of this going bad and or checking if it's good? I checked voltage on it and was showing 12.8v when trying to start. Any way of bypassing it temporarly? Where is the pickup coil? And any way of testing?

So I swapped to COPs last year, swapped them out, bike ran good... pulled the vmax out in March and went for a ride, first day all was good... second day bike died, I thought maybe the petrol I got was bad or cop went south... today I had a chance to pull the vmax out and check things, replaced...

Oh yea, huge amount of effort, complete fabrication of mounts and getting it all to fit just right... I've learned a great deal thanks to it, one of my most important skills I learned was welding
