Re: Who do you think makes the best replacement seat?
I have the original corbin seat. The saet is just OK but if you have hyway pegs mounted to the crash bars then the seat is great! IMO
170 MILES
The best I have done is 200km and it took 14.9 litres. I always put it on the centre stand. I have found a 50km difference the the side stand. I drive 90km each way to work and I can not make it back to the same gas station the I filled up at unless I baby the throttle...
Re: My PreMax love affair, what was your's?
First bike was a 73' Kawasaki S2. Damn fun little bike. I wold love to get a nother 2 stroke. Poor bike was i pieces when I let her go. In the right hand side of the pic you can see the Vmax rim with the Good Year car slick on it.
The label on the can recommends adding it to your oil but I have not done it to the bike. Too nervous about the clutch for me to try. If anyone is about to rebuild their clutch it would be a good experiment.
Rob I put a 1/3 of a can in a 1/2 a tank of gas. WOW what a difference.
When I had my new stock 85' it would do 149mph not a mph more. At the track the best time was 10.97@121 I think. 11.25 was more the average. I haven't taken the 99' over 220kph yet. This max does not seem as strong as my old one.:confused2: The Hindle exhaust improved things but still not the...
I have a Garmin 76CSx and a Magellan eXplorist XL. I mainly us them for sledding but this year bought a mount for the bike. I have converted my tracks and waypoints into a map of the snowmobile trails that installs like any other Garmin product. This pic is of my sled with the XL and my old emap...
I already have the stock slides and I swapped them with the drilled slides. I then went to sync the carbs and notices the cylinder that had the sloppy drill hole was twice as high (40cm) as the other three cylinders. I tried lowering it and the bike began to pop/backfire. The bike has the D/J...
I have a Dyno jet stage 1 kit on my bike. I notice that one of the slides was drilled very sloppy. I bought a set of carbs off ebay with a set of stock slides. I want to put the undrilled slides back in the bike . What adjustment should I make for this change. Thanks guys.
