thanks guys. i'm going out to clean it with some break cleaner now. never once has my baby leaked oil. i did the mod with the oil pump years ago to fix the o ring problem. i just changed the oil the other day using my maxjax lift. now she's seeping :(

guys more poor baby just hit 10k miles. i went into my garage yesterday and saw oil near the kick stand. i think it is coming from the shifter seal. is that common and how hard is it to replace? any other ideas on where that is coming from would be great. Thanks, Sid

i was doing a 300 mile ride... i was just resting my left hand for a little. i try to alternate between left and right hands... tires are pretty new. 2000 miles at most on them. bike has 6000 miles on it. I replaced the fork springs with progressives and rears with a set too recently...

i had the weirdest experience the other day. i was riding in the rain at 45mph. right hand on the bars and went over a bump. bike started to head shake pretty good. i thought it would stop but after a a couple of seconds it didn't. when i put my left hand back on the bars, it went away...

No loosing of header I used a floor jack and pry bar. Put some anti seez on the header and a wood block and hammer. Thanks!

Definitely put it on the center stand if possible. It was hard to do on my bike because front and rear lower 1 inch. Center stand will hang up the exhaust if not.

kenom that is correct. i changed the flasher a long time ago to fix the fast blink but when i changed all lights to LED without the resistors, all lights flash at the same time.
