I know this is an old thread but I can't find a 7.5k ohm potentiometer, can I use a 10k? Or even a 5k. I figured with the 5k the potentiometer will either be full open or partially closed. And with a 10k the potentiometer will probably open fully at the 7.5 mark which will be 75% of the 10k then...

Wait.... wait... wait. I thought the 85 more horsepower thing was a myth??? Lol. Does the 85 have more hp? And are the venture carbs bigger than the 86 vmax? I wonder if one would benefit from making slightly bigger vboost tubes with exhaust and carb upgrades to match?

Since you guys are talking about brackets, what size spacing does the 85-92 vmax calipers have? I know new have the 100mm but im looking to buy a set of conversion brackets for my venture and wanted to make sure the vmax was also 80mm! Thanks!

i just cant see spending 500+ on fairings that are still broke and need repaired. It was a thought may or may not mess with it, i may just look in to a simpler option and just go with one of the Aftermarket fairings with round headlight kind of whats on the Newer ventures and most harleys (<-...

don't want it horribly, lol. But seeing price of used decent fairing, vents, radio and list goes on. Figured scoops and a headlight would be a 1/4 of the price. Was just curious how similar fronts are.

well after riding around a bit and a few fingers later lol i had to take the bulb out. I guess the factory lense does refract light a lot more. So guess i take back what i said. Im picking up a clear lense today.

i got the H4 bulb with no problems. what probles did you guys have?

Use the top images. the attached dont seem to be working. the ones i got are 35w and they are the 6k so its very clear and just a tint of blue. If any one is interested in ordering id say these are the best. the higher you get the color changes the clearer...
