The oil you're using will not make your clutch slip. Find the oil thread as this has been discussed, rediscussed, and will be discussed for years to come. Bike specific oils have friction modifiers to ensure proper function of oil bath clutches.

Steering head bearings are a p.i.t.a. To change. The lower race needs to have a bead of weld run around the face to shrink it so it will fall out.
