adaptive cruise, collision avoidance tech and motorcyclist mortality.

I also have questions about things like this "safety" truck how many pixels will a bike take up? will "Sorry, I didn't see him on the TV" be an acceptable excuse?

    Ebay shocks

The brake bracket would hit the air reservoir so I had to turn it They're shorter than stock (I wanted to drop the back) and work well for normal riding but they may bottom out if I carry a passenger - not a big problem because nobody will sit up behind me anymore

I put a set of cheap RFY eBay shocks on mine - going well for 2 years now (I did change the springs a few months ago for a slightly stiffer set I had lying around)

morbidly obese demand recognition and disability status

Ignorance is my disability - that's what I claim when the PC brigade come knocking and I want a bike parking space indoors next to reception

vinyl wrap instaed of paint ?

I did my own vinyl wrap and it only turned out ok - not brilliant... I used a brushed textured vinyl which didn't take to all the curves easily because it was so heavy and most of the bends & joins have lifted over time. If I was to do it again I'll get a professional to do it and use a thinner...

    any experience with ohlins springs?

I would put money into a 17" wheel before a braced swing arm! That 15" bias ply tire will flex more than the frame + swing arm ever will - especially if its under pressurized

    COPS on a 1979 XS 650?

It's the coil that will burn - the points sit in the closed position so long that they will over saturate the COP and they quickly overheat. Regular coils are big enough that they don't suffer from this effect

    COPS on a 1979 XS 650?

Won't work if the bike has points - they'll burn before you have a chance to turn the motor over (I tried on my xs750) Electronic ignition only appeared in the 80s on the XS range

    Vboost indicator ligbt

I was going to ask why you didn't put the light where the blank is on the dash - then I noticed your dash isn't stock anymore :clapping: I connected into the wiring a while back and added a few LEDs that would light up when the servo opened or closed - but I was getting dazzled at night just...

    Idenity theft

Why isn't America called Columbusia? I'm going to hold a meeting in my head and change it to honor Christopher Columbus instead of Amerigo Vespucci - I bet the Portuguese are angry because their nation never got credit for discovering "Columbusia" Political correctness is tyranny with manners -...

I think something is bad wrong :/

Not a head gasket, valve cover gasket (head gasket would be leaking coolant) Probably just a few cracks in the rubber from age http://www.vmaxforum.net/showthread.php?t=4018

    wraps

I wrapped mine in black vinyl with a brushed texture One thing I learned was that the sheets I used were too heavy for the parts with sharp curves - it lifts over time and bubbles grow in the gaps next time I'll go with a lighter sheet without texture
