Mine did that too. I replaced the gear position sensor and it fixed it. I think I could have repaired it without buying a sensor though. This video is pretty decent at showing what happens and what the fix might be if you wanna try it before buying a new sensor. Obviously not a VMAX but the one...

Do you still have these Sean? I’m really wanting to try this but want to preserve my stock mufflers in case I want to go back. Also, how do you get these apart to get access to the pipes inside? Maybe I’m just being a moron but I can’t see how to get them apart.

Got my mirros on today. They seem to work and look pretty good. The downside is that there is a gap now between the bar end and the stock grip. Anybody know of anywhere where I can get a shim or spacer to put inbetween them? Not really wanting to change grips since I do like the factory ones.

I am looking at getting some new handlebar ends and new mirrors for the Vmax. My brother is running those handlebar end mirrors on his Triumph and I think they look pretty good. I would be interested to see them on a Vmax. Has anybody used them? Good or bad? Just wanted to get an idea of what...
