Changed plugs last night and put in the new Moose equivalent to the DPR8s... took a look at what i pulled out and they were DPR7s?! :ummm: Why would someone put the 7s in place of the 8s? (Just got the bike... no clue how long they've been in there)

what is the most likely cause? tweaked fork or issue with the fork brace? causes a tiny cant in handlebar when riding. new to me 2001 and just getting ready to dive in to a few minor issues needing correction before I ride it. looking for suggestions, tia!

how do i check the primary and secondary ignition coil resistance? :ummm: have reading from red and orange wire into coil, but is this primary winding? if so, my measurements are same on all coils but don't match any specs in the manual...

ok, trying to figure out what seals the tube at the insertion point into the block - cannot see any seal or o-ring listed on the diagram. :bang head: the drain tube below the radiator - where it inserts into the block is leaking. anyone have any ideas or has anyone replaced this tube or had...

can the newer tapered foot pegs still fit in the 85 mounts? or do the mounts have to be replaced as well? looking to update from the big flat bricks that came with my 85... anyone have some of the newer style around? :ummm:

oem instrument cowl windscreen help needed... just found an oem windscreen mount and am going to make a replacement screen out of lexan but was hoping someone could make a paper tracing of theirs so i can get the basic dimensions? does anyone have one that could do this for me?

has anyone found replacement o-rings for the pressure equalization tube on the front fork besides the stock factory item? the lowest price i find for those is about 7.50 ea and need 4. ridiculous. does anyone know the dimensions so i can grab some from a NAPA store or something? :ummm:

according to my shifter/transmission, 4th gear no longer exists... 1,2,3 all ok, try 4th - no one home, then up to 5th... no problem. anyone find my 4th gear laying around their garage? or maybe someone would have a suggestion of how to fix this? that might work, too :rofl_200:

OK, just getting ready to test ride after all the repair and etc... now bike stalls every time i put it into gear. tried keeping revs up no difference. clutch is still pulled in... any thoughts? 1985 - no engine mods besides jets and drilled exhaust.
