get a drz 400 e( i wouldn't get anything but an e) ! super reliable and fun to ride. Or if you really want to invest in a toy get the ktm 640 or ktm 950

2nd gen vmax got it as close as i think it can be (imho) Also really like the motus - if a naked version of that can be made for a competitive price to the japanese naked's I would buy it. I'm also waiting for buell's new production bikes.

haha yeah but he also is in parker. I was stopped for a modded tail section on mine. Apparently if your license plate is not in the stock location it is a violation in colorado. Either that or the cop that stopped me didn't like my bike lol.

yeah i hear ya! Insurance is more than i thought it would be (not bitching just stating the fact). Hopefully further down the road I can afford another pristine 1st gen or possibly 2nd gen vmax.

crap...my fault. Selling it for multiple reasons actually (financial stress, lack of space in the garage, starting a family, etc)

has 19k on it. Recent tune up. Has upgraded ft brakes. New metzler tires. Supertrapp slip ons. Drag bars. Runs very strong. Have a corbin seat as well (not pictured) and a couple other misc parts that I will include if I recieve full asking price. Clean title. I'm asking $3300 /obo.

just read all 26 pages and still not sure what i want do. Bought a corbin seat but it needs redone. Fits ok but i would like it a little lower and updated aesthetically

ugly bike imho. If you want a muscle cruiser the vmax 2nd gen is hard to beat even with the higher price.

cool bike! just get a honda cb or kawi kz and turn it into a bobber. Cheaper more readily avail parts and imho a better overall bike.

you can ride a good amount during the fall and spring as well winter if you don't mind the colder weather. Usually the snow will be gone 1-2 days after it falls since it is a desert climate! I have ridden my bike up to pikes peak(14k) with minimal problems.

I think the guy is a tool honestly. I emailed him with a full breakdown of simple questions and detail on the bike. How long he has had it, have you done a compression test, clean title, just basic stuff really. His response "if you want it come look at it" ...lol
