    The O-ring doesn't need to come out, however it would be silly not to remove for inspection. If it ends up being distorted or deteriorating and you reassemble, you wasted your time and will have to do it again. To answer your question, no, you don't have to remove it.

    That would be normal for some oil to be inside the wires coming from your pick up coils, Because you left them hanging it just allowed some to siphon out is all. Not sure why you would cut then tho.

    No, the stater wires at the case are sealed with a soft sealant. Why cut wires tp replace regulator?

    Well shit, try the drinking straw with a dab of grease first then. That might save you a lot of time, that's a great idea! Just leave the O ring in place..

    I would, I would also do the shotgun method as long as I'm there. If your needles are corroded chances are your idle circuit looks the same. It only take a little longer, then you have a good piece of mind.

    This should help. To remove your idle mixture screws, hold your thumb over half of the mixture screw hole opening, and out about 2 mm. Direct a blast of air down PAJ1. If the mixture screw was backed out enough off of the threads, it will hit your thumb and stop, allowing you to grab...
