the cops mod helped that a lot however doing this swap seems to have fixed it properly and yes I did the crimp fix by default when the new reg was fitted, going straight to the battery seemed logical lol

Couple of days now since the mod. Makes a hell of a difference, already had cops, uprated alternator and goldwing battery, it had always started but when hot would turnover very slow and always raised that doubt in mind, will it or wont it lol. Out doing errands yesterday and found myself...

Just done the R1 regulater swap,,, and it seems to have a marked improvement,, starts like a fuel injected bike, well so far lol

I replaced the reflecter with one of these https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/strobe-fixtures/4-watt-vehicle-strobe-light/615/ it will flash or constant light and its BRITE. If you have it set to flash your friends wont like to follow you lol

I am already running a goldwing battery and have been looking at the lithium equilivant of that one to get the most power available lol

Has anyone had any experience with these batteries. They arent cheap but if they work like the spec says it should might be worth the cost. Weight saving wont hurt either...
