If you want an easily removable 12v option and have a Battery Tender you can use their Female Cigarette Adapter with quick disconnect adapter

Turbomax, you mentioned in this thread back in '09 that you were also working on a EFI system. What happened with that endeavor?

I'd love to replace the rear seat with a trunk, but I've never come across anything like this. Sorta surprising after all these years that no aftermarket options to replace the rear seat exist (at least that I'm aware of).

G - Just went out to the garage and took a closer look and the adapter is not to that wire. The t-adapter has a black and orange wire with the tap coming off the orange wire. The plug coming into the adapter has an orange and red/white wire coming in, but the orange wire coming in looks to be...

The tboost setup I have used to tap into the orange wire on the coil.

I recently installed Gannon's COP kit and my tboost doesn't seem to be kicking in at 3k any longer. Where can I get more info on the adjustable controller?

Stopped by the dealer to get some gear oil, and they gave me the 'Shaft Drive Oil Exclusive' (link below) that is supposed to be used in the Gen 2 Max, Tenere, and FJR. Ok to run this stuff in the Gen 1 V-Max...

Just a follow-up on where I ended up. The previous owner of my bike had replaced the reflector behind the passenger seat with a light. This light and the rear turn signals were all hooked up to the brake light wire (yellow). When I hooked up my LED tail light to just the blue (running light)...

Both of the brake switches are ok and operate the brake light properly. It's just the tail light that is not working (simpler circuit, so no reason this shouldn't work). When I get the LED light back and if the tail light works when wired directly to the battery, but not to the tail light...
