Not sure what's going on, 96 vmax won't start this morning. Lights etc all working. No v-boost or fuel pump when ignition turned on. I'm sure more than 1 of you can point me I'm the right direction. Southern comfort vmax rally starts today and my vmax won't 🤣🤣

It's to do with the way the tread is applied to carcase. To increase area of adhesive applied vs a straight butt joint

It might happen very soon. Both the outfits have eaten the front tyres. Mot is in a month so I'm looking into a 130 rear tyre in reverse orientation on for that. As soon as I have a result I'll update here. Do you run telescopics or leading link on the trike?

Update on the darkside Found a pair of fitted but unused 165 80 15's on ebay for £12.50 🤣 A mate helped me out by fitting the tyre. His only comment was plenty of lube on bead and tyre . And 95psi before it seated. So far I'm loving it, plenty of drive but it will spin a little if I get...

Almost certainly plates stuck together.

Only need the smaller gasket. It's not a bad job to do. You'll need a decent Allen bit on a socket drive or possibly an impact driver. I managed mine in a couple of hours with a sidecar in the way 🤣🤣

Just had an xl600 through the workshop with similar issues. Will start on button and run til you let it go. Turns out the ecu was fried and not letting coils get power unless starter was turning

How many pieces was the starter clutch in?

Only gave mine 5 minutes with blowtorch after tightening up puller bolts 'kin tight. Went to tighten up a bit more and it popped the flywheel as soon as the socket went on.

I'm using 8.8 in my puller

this made all the difference for me
