Cleaned Carbs and replace fuel inlet valves. Now no fuel is getting into the bowls

Re: Cleaned Carbs and replace fuel inlet valves. Now no fuel is getting into the bowl Turns out I had the floats setup all wrong and they were pinning the needles closed. Re adjusted the floats and the bike now runs.

Cleaned Carbs and replace fuel inlet valves. Now no fuel is getting into the bowls

As the title states I ordered 4 rebuild kits which consisted of O-rings and fuel inlet bodies/valves. I noticed the new inlet valves are stiffer then the original ones (figured the originals were worn) and they hold the floats in the low position when turned upside down. This is uncharted...

Im trying to track down my fathers Drag V-MAX

Call me crazy but I stumbled across this video and it looks like the exact same wheels as my dads from the article. The front wheel is OE but that looks to be the exact same split spoke Kosman rear rim and rigid rear suspension. also the rear fender is maroon and its an 85. Does anyone know Jeff...

Im trying to track down my fathers Drag V-MAX

I do appreciate the effort, Ive decided that once I get my car back together (again) that I'd really like to buy a Vmax and not copy his bike but build my own. And with my history in the supra world I will most likely fabricate a custom turbo setup. Something you may like to hear is that I had a...

Im trying to track down my fathers Drag V-MAX

I knew it was going to be a long shot finding the bike in one piece. I have actually been thinking of building a replica. For anyone on here who has intimate knowledge of the parts that were on the bike could throw together a quick list that I can use as reference incase the tribute bike becomes...

Im trying to track down my fathers Drag V-MAX

Ive been a gear head as long as I can remember and that bike was one of those things that always will remind me of him. If I cant find his bike I am definitely planning on doing a crazy Vmax. I...

Im trying to track down my fathers Drag V-MAX

Hey Everyone, My fathers name was Gordon Wilkinson. He built a 85' or 86' VMAX as a drag bike. He was friends with Paul Civitello. They shared an article in Cycle Word back in the 80's , Pauls bike was referred to as the "MAD MAX" and my father's was the "MOD MAX". The Bike was...
