The fender brackets or the triples you don’t care for the look of? I didn’t use either of the triple but do have the brackets to utilize the factory front fender. The are somewhat hidden behind ind the fork leg. I did that as I don’t care for the big sport bike fender look

Rick, the attached photos are the ones I was referring to. The first are from Exactrep, made by Otec, I just read somewhere that Otec is or will be going out of business. The second is from cycle one off, and the brackets are if you want to use your Vmax fender and not an aftermarket or sport...

Yes, the upper clamp is dropped. It’s been a few years so tuff to recall but I looked at the few that are available and I believe I remember seeing a set up I liked from Exactrep also but don’t recall why I didn’t use it. I left it in Larry’s hands to decide and really like what he did on mine...

I had Larry @ LCR do my build and he used what Sean recommended fzr1000/750 forks and wheels and I’m super happy. The factory handlebar clamp was also used. The bike is at his shop now for winter changes si I can’t take pics but I’ll attach ones I can find

That’s a beautiful bike and in great shape, I live near buffalo as well and yes, riding time here is a short season. Always fun to ride with a fellow maxer, let me know if you want to ride before the weather

Thank you… last I knew, Paul at mad max was doing them but it’s been a year or more so I can’t say for sure. I also think Sean at Morley’s Muscle dose them, and I know for sure that both Larry at Lcr Performance, John at PCW dose them.

Absolutely, Larry’s a fantastic mechanic and a good guy! That drag bike build in the pic Larry was telling me it’s been on hold for a while and the guy is looking to finish it…

Thank you, the way it is now it’s 5” over stock length. Larry at LCR did the build and it was his idea to reposition the fender to the tire. Also help from John Ganey with machine work on motor case & heads, seat from Sean Morley and some parts from Mike at SRP…

Looking at the raked front end, the blower used and the 300 rear id say Paul & Mad Max built it

True, that could be said about changing most anything on the vmax…. Carbs, exhaust, tires, motor. etc…. All “engineered” in 1985…. Almost everything on my vmax is modified and I couldn’t be happier… it dose everything so much better!!!! And changing the calipers will also be, With the rotors...

I put the Galfer rotors and pads on mine and rly like the look… I’m not sure they stop any different or better but I’m sure that’s due to still having the early 90’s calipers on it.

Get ahold of Sean Morley about his mid cut muscle seat. He is a great guy, very helpful and a pleasure to do business with. He normally requires your seat but I’m pretty sure he would do one for you outright so you could keep your original

Josh, the Corbin seat I had was from them, I didn’t care for it but did see the Corbin from holeshot and think it’s a much nice seat than the original corbin
