Oh I guess I I have a weekend project to do sometime this winter. I'm pretty sure I'll just replace all three.

On my 03 I replaced the clutch plates adding a full one I place of the half and the steels,also added a EBC spring. Did a complete fluid flush and fill. In the end my clutch still let's out at the end..got me scratching my head. I wanted a 1/4 to 1/2 engagement.

I did a complete flush and bleed when I installed the clutch..shifting is smooth and neutral is easy to find...

Okay I took the bike out for a ride. The heavier clutch spring with new plates and steel definitely made a difference. Definitely feels better with better grab on downshift. The clutch grabs a little sooner now but it's still grabs what I believe is out far.. what can I do to get the clutch to...

Update.. Hey everybody thanks for the advice you all gave on this thread. Just wanted to show doing the clutch mod now the first picture is the factory spring side by side with the heavy duty EBC spring can definitely see a difference in the thickness. Also just a tip what you all probably...

So I should be able to just leave out the snap ring replace the half plate with a whole one and use the heavier diaphragm spring.. sounds like a plan..I'll try this when my new steel plates arrive and give an update.. thanks for all the input

Jeez lol. The front end was lifting under acceleration already and that's with my clutch engaging at the end..this might be to much fun..

I have the torque wrench so I'm going to use that along with the blue loctite. I want to see how to clutch feels with just the heavy duty spring first.

Hello I'm sure this is in here somewhere I just couldn't find it. I'm interested in replacing the half disc with a full disc and using an EBC heavy duty spring in place of the stock spring. What I need to know is what else do I leave out when putting it back together??
