    Towing with a dolly

The engine oil pump supplies oil flow to the bearings and inner bushings of the trans gears via lube passages in the trans shafts. You could tow it on a dolly, but you would need to have the engine running to supply oil to the trans. Otherwise, it would probably not be the gear teeth that would...

What'd You Do With Your Other Ride

Been working on my off road toy. 2003 Ford Ranger. I solid axle swapped it back in 2010 with a D44 front end, 4.88 gears, and 35" tires. Finally have the parts together to do a full 1-ton swap with Dana 60/Ford 10.25 combo, air lockers front and rear, 5.38 gears, and 39's. Once this phase is...

    Venture max ignition

Just curious, but why the change in pistons? Are they different?

    Idle differance

I like the lopey idle of open vboost. You may have to turn the idle adjustment up a bit after unplugging the vboost controller as well. It tends to lower the idle speed some with the vboost open.

    Short Turn Throttle Tube?

That's a pretty cheap and effective method. Looks good 👍

    Short Turn Throttle Tube?

I'm currently using one from Rizoma on my gen1. It us integrated into the grip. Pretty universal setup. I'm sure it would probably work for gen2 as well. Comes with 3 or 4 different cam profiles in the box.

    EFI conversion on a Gen-1

I had been planning to study the flywheel triggers in depth the next time I had the cover off. Mostly just to make sense of the program. Thank you for taking the time to figure it out and share your findings. That graphic makes it very easy to understand.

That retard threatened to "pay me a visit" once too. I sent him my address. He never showed. Imagine that.🙄

Does OEM fuel pump have internal pressure switch?

I would think that may be the case with rotary pumps, but plunger type pumps do not need either of those things because of the way they function. The coil of the solenoid is actually de-energized while the spring and plunger is creating pressure. Watch the air bubble that forms in the fuel...

Does OEM fuel pump have internal pressure switch?

There is no pressure shutoff. It has a solenoid, plunger, spring, diaphragm, and a couple of electrical contacts inside the pump itself. After having had a couple of these type pumps apart, this is my understanding of how it works... The tension of the loaded spring forces the plunger to move...

    6 Sigma jet kit

Also, DO NOT DRILL YOUR SLIDES EVEN IF THEIR INSTRUCTIONS SAY TO DO SO. You WILL be buying new ones when the kit turns out to be a total fail. Ask me how I know.

    6 Sigma jet kit

I bought a kit from them for my V65 back in 2009. Huge mistake. Cheap, unbranded jets sized completely wrong. Huge waste of time and money. I fought with it for quite some time before I gave up and put the carbs back to stock and started over with a DJ kit that had it running good on the first...

Gen 2 - 41mm hex key for removing wheel bearing on rear wheel

This is exactly what I have done in the past in substitute of large hex drivers. Works every time.

    2nd Gen VMAX 17 VMX

That looks a lot like 3/4" EMT conduit. Plenty strong, and very lightweight. You done a fine job there. 👍

    Copper gaskets

Sounds like you need the pliable "semi-metallic" type gasket. Is the inside of collar tapered?

Where to buy shoria battery or ODYSSEY PC680 and get it delivered asap

Enersys Genesis 16ep is the brand and model. Same battery marketed for use as UPS for computers and sold under one of their other brand names. It is slightly cheaper as well. Having several options to search for may help you get more results with faster delivery times.

Where to buy shoria battery or ODYSSEY PC680 and get it delivered asap

Just to expand your options, the PC545 is also a good choice. Slightly smaller than the 680 but has higher cranking amps and less reserve capacity. I have used both and they are both great choices. If you have Batteries Plus in your area, they should have something on the shelf. Also, there are...

Bike won’t go into neutral while running.

Mine had the same issue with not being able to get neutral. The problem slowly got worse over the course of 3 years and was to the point the clutch would drag a small amount. Rebuilt clutch master and slave and bled, and bled,, and bled which solved nothing. Those are the most likely causes for...

    Ignitech Vboost Control PSA

Thanks, Sean. I see the one on the far left does not have the red/white spliced into the red wire like mine did. I believe this one was one of the very first that were shipped out with the servo control. I honestly do not remember where I got it from and I may have bought it second hand, so the...
