Some questions?? I have an 85 Max with SuperTrapps (no end caps) - running rough. Carbs have been cleaned and balanced over this past winter. Needles have just been shimmed runs a little better... I am putting the end caps back on to see if the added back pressure helps. What I am reading...

a 1985 in 2010 for $2300 had 25k mi on it. all stock needed nothing...

all 3 would make sense.... hmmm Im getting the bike back in a week or 2 from the shop. Had the 25k mile overhaul done plus..... If i have any $$$ left I want that Muscle seat!! be in touch

Valve adj will be done. front fork will be done. wiil consider the Morley HD oil pump upgrade. as well as all new SS lines..... Elec system not charging like it should but works could be 1-1.5v better. Coolant flush/change, engine oil change, diff fluid change, brake/clutch fluid change...

Just put the bike in the shop for the winter.... for a 25K overhaul, carb clean and poss. rebuild + front fork springs........ Im sure we'll find other stuff to fix/replace but was wondering What else should I consider/look for???? :ummm:

I had SuperTrapps with no discs or caps when i got my Max. I thought it was too loud, sounded great though!. So I bought (direct from SuperTrapp) 1 set = 16 discs (8/side) closed end caps and hardware for around $85 */+. Ended up taking them of this summer..... just sounds better.

fotunately I dont need them yet~~! but i'll save the link for when i do. Then when "i'm on the VMax", I'll really be "On the VMax" lol
