got my '10 had the oil pump recalled when i bought it because i worked at a yamaha dealer at the time and guess who got to get paid to fix it? ME! bikes are awesome seen a post about 20yr olds cant afford them but im 24 LOL i have had and always will have a VMAX first bike and it will be my last!

im almost thinking that, but i had the bike on a tender all winter, i rode the bike late april then it sat till yesterday and it cranked over fine i put the pipe on and went to work came home and this is what im dealing with !

hey i put the pipe back on the bike and i went to start it after work today and everything turned on but battery was almost dead and didnt fire but it ran fine before, HELP!!!! only thing i took off electrical wise was O2 sensor i re routed that see if that helps right now bike is on battery...

I miss the sound lol I can def tell a difference with more weight in the rear the guy had the pipe on when I bought it and the bike had 3300 miles on it I was afraid that it could hurt it with no tune the bike doesn't have a power commander and I have no paperwork showing a tune, guy gave me...

So do I absolutely need a refashion by putting this akro pipe back on? How can I find out if my ecu is tuned? I don't think it is.

Only thing I know he has done is buy a chip off eBay to elimatie the govener when it hits a certain mph the speed drops down to go faster idk if it even works bc I don't go that fast as far as I know the ecu has a stock tune.

I took it off running stock only thing aftermarket the guy put on is a override for the speed so it's not govenered anymore even though I don't go fast on it
