Hi guys,

Can anyone point me in the right direction on this matter? Getting clutch slip in 4th and 5th gear around 100+ mph...when I give it throttle the rpms drop from about 9k to 7k and there is loss of power.

The oil is Mobil-1 4t 10-40 and fresh. Synthetic oil has always been used with no issue. The bike is 09 with 25k miles and already has the Double D clutch mod. Clutch was checked and within spec approximately 5000 miles ago. Bike was not abused during this time.

Do these springs wear out? Should I replace them?

Sounds like bogging, I don’t know much about the gen 2 but maybe a air flow sensor or throttle position sensor or something along those lines. Probably not helpful at all, but maybe! :)
