Southwest Dyno Day

Apr 14 2018 (Saturday) there will be a Vmax dyno day in Lawton OK, at Wind River Harley Davidson. The address is301 SE Interstate Dr, Lawton, OK 73501. Its right off of I-44, so VERY easy to get to.

The dyno time will start at 8 am, and last until whenever. The Dyno will be free for people to use (although tipping the dyno operator at the end of the day is always good). The dyno will be free due to the chief sponsor of this event, Sean Morley of Morley’s Muscle. A Carbtune and various hand tools will be there to assist with jet changes…etc. Please bring any jets that you want to try or might possibly swap for the dyno, (for a Gen 1), if you have a Gen 2, please bring anything that you want to swap out….etc. The dyno is inside, and has a bay next to it, so people can swap jets….etc, out of the weather just in case.

There are several hotels that are next door, or within ½ a mile of the dealership.

I happen to live in Lawton, so please don’t hesitate to get with me about any questions or ideas.

I really want to make this event. I am scheduled off for that weekend, but it seems that our turnaround at work may be going on during that time. We will see when it gets a little closer.

Well home that you can make it. Looking forward to riding with you again (and learning more about the quick shifter...lol). if not, will you make Eureka Springs again this year?

I havent seen anything yet, usually the last weekend in May or first weekend in June.

The rainy day was when I had to take off and go fetch some tires. Lol next time I'm showing up with new rubber! Those tires were about 50% when I left Tulsa. Burned them off in a day and a half. Just found out that our plant turnaround starts on April 12th but I worked out a deal to get the weekend off. Pretty stoked.

Good. I learned after the first year, always come with new rubber. I'm VERY curious about your experimenting with the ignitech.

Now that I know I will not be riding back from Utah, the chances are much better for me to make it. I have family in the Wichita Falls/ Iowa Park area so I can make it a 2-fer..... Would be great to meet some of the forum members and check out their rides.

Just wanted to remind everyone, that this is a little bit under 3 weeks away.

i know that jim and Shala are staying around the medicine park area. I dont know where everyone else is staying.

I'll probably just come down and head back in the same day. I'd stay but my dad is having surgery on his foot the week before so he can't ride... he'd just be stuck at the hotel lol.

For everyone that is coming down Friday, we will be meeting up Friday about 5:30 pm for a ride. It should be about an hour to an hour and a half, and then stop and eat, and then ride back to Lawton that night.
