Well, it took us one extra day to make the round trip. We saw a replica of Stonehenge (as they think it was originally) on the way, just east of The Dalles along the Columbia River. Not as impressive as the real one in England, I'm sure, but still pretty good. We spent half a day and overnight in Leavenworth, WA, a Bavarian village, then 3 days including a horse ride and chuckwagon dinner, in Winthrop with friends who live there.

Here are a few pics, the first is my Magna fully outfitted, ready to rock and roll. (VMax is having a bout with electrical gremlins.) Following is the Stonhenge site, then the road up to a vista outlook, yours truly and wife Val at the outlook, and the road down. Next is Diablo Lake in the Northern Cascades, and a shot of my friend Andy leading us into a tunnel. Last is a curve along the Nor Cal coast on the way home, after nothing but fog along the Oregon coast.

All in all, it was a really good trip, with good friends (there were 11 of us altogether, 5 couples and a visiting friend from Holland). Fun times, the only downer was the fog, but that was only 2 days out of the 13.

Very nice pictures, looks like a nice trip! I've been across 20 thru the Cascades, saw Diablo Lake too. Very beautiful area and is for sure on my bucket list to explore on a motorcycle.
