OK here are some pics from the 5/17/14 event in St. Augustine FL. One of the pics is Don Bradley, the artist for the event poster, (he owns a beautiful Vincent) and Dave Despain, who you probably recognize from many years as a motorsports announcer on various broadcasts for many years. He's got great stories of all-sorts of events, people and racing series. I've run-into him a few times over the years, and it's always a good visit.
I think may favorite pic is the early 1970's dirt bikes, a Bultaco Pursang, Maico 250, BSA 441, and a Rickman-Montesa. That's the era when I was riding my Yamaha 360 in enduros and hare scrambles in MI and FL before there were Monoshocks, forward-mounted rear shocks, or long-travel suspensions. I still have it, and it's the only bike I bought new.
I'm a bit frustrated, the site isn't co-operating w/my attempts to upload tonite. I've done a dozen pics two different times, but they never load in entirety (I don't 'batch' them, I load them 1 by 1). I'm just gonna do these few for now as it's past-time for bed. :damn angry:
