I hope someone can help me. I have a 2001 VMAX that will not start. There is 12.9 volts coming from the battery. When you turn the key to start it, there is no volts coming from the battery. I checked the fuses and they are all good. I am thinking it may be the electric start or the key switch...

I'm not going to lie. I don't fully understand the dyno stuff but the guy I bought my max from got these done. Just thought I would share-how are my numbers compared to standard?

I have a buddy who owns a 2001 R1 that will crank but not start when the engine is warm. Bike runs fine when warm with no stuttering, lack of power, etc., just won't re-start. Once the bike cools down, it starts fine. This is a carbureted bike. I would think coils, fuel pump (it has one), or...

Finally getting the original tires off the vmax in the morning...i looked at the front tire and it dated to 2001 and the back dated to 2002.....old tires have plenty of tread and look like new; just don't trust the age of them....bike is very low milage and sat up in a boat storage house for 8...

How do i replace the fuel filter; bike is still running like shit....have the idle turned up just to get 1k rpms on idle....or where is the dang filter located, i want to slap one on tomorrow....got some super unleaded with seafoam running in it right now, gonna go thru a couple tanks of it...

I warmed my bike up this morning and changed the oil and filter....could only get three quarts in it...must have been the way it was angled where i changed it....oh well; looks clean......went with Lucas 10W-40 and Wix Filter...How many quarts is this bike suppose to hold...?
