can I use 8 full friction plates with the conversion and what parts do I leave out

Anyone seen a good trike conversion for the V-Max? Or is this taboo? Will my membership be terminated!

What resistors are you guys using to convert to COPs. My stock coils primary is 3.0 ohms. My Denso sticks are 1.3. So what is everyone using? 2.0 ohm, 50 watts? I have a feeling people are using smaller resistors since it's not constant current.

Is it possible to do this cheaply? I am guessing it's not a simple matter of taking off the back seat off? I eventually plan on getting a new back fender but would like to avoid that expense for a bit. Would a custom new seat be needed?
