Does anybody have pics of this setup? I cannot find a single shot of one with any web search.

So... Another 2 hours and $$$ lost... I want to replace the VW damper I have on my Vmax-hack: For a Daytona one which is suppose to go with only a little cut on the plastic frame cover... Of course, and this will be the excuse, the damn thing does not fit with the raked angle of my fork...

My right fork is leaking oil out the damper rod bolt. I compressed the forks all the way and damper rod still spins and i cannot tighten the bolt. Is there a trick to this? forks are on the bike.

hey i can't find it quick, does anyone know offhand what size jam nuts we need to hold the damper rod on the 85-92 forks? i may not be able to use the impact while the forks are in the bike trick, or it might be modified and just want that option readily available. its just a what, maybe 24"...

Can the damper on this bracket be taken out? I'm sure it can but how easy/hard will it be?

The bracket where the footrest attaches to has a rubber damper, and I'm wondering, will the damper be able to resist the temperature (~200) of the oven in the powder coating process??

Does anybody have a pic of the new style damper rods that are in the 2007 Gen 1's? I know that through the years the shape of the top of the damper has been changed and if what I read is correct, the 2005-2007 damper rods don't have the bolt pattern in the top in which to grab on to...
