I took him 3/3 times off the line. He was stock, my Gen II is not. I kept up with him in the twisties. It was a fun encounter.

FYI...The new issue (November issue) of motorcyclist magazine has a gen 2 max vs the diavel in a head to head comparison.

They call the Diavel, "the 'Game Changer.'" Sept. '11. "Cycle World" names the Diavel the "Best Cruiser." Same month. Because of its lighter weight, I am sure the Italian will handle better. However, I have only seen one article in print that said the Diavel was quicker.

I'm sure alot of members saw this, but if not...."In the default Sport mode, the Diavel goes like stink; it just doesn't do it quite as fast or as nasty as a VMax does." Made me smile when I read that. :biglaugh:
