filter

My bike has the kerker exhaust with the 1 3/4" baffle. I love the sound but was thinking of going with the 2" or the 2 1/2". I usually run with the baffle out and just the end cap with the 1 3/4" opening. With the baffle in my bike bogs down, it feels like to much restriction and loads it up...

there seem to be a lot of posts on the oil filters for 96+ but I cannot track down part numbers for 85 - 95 oil filters. any takers? a list of brands? I know K&N is KN-146

I took my filter off and it is, indeed, very dirty (thank you Seafoam!). However, there are no identifying characteristics on it. Anybody know the p/n? Is there a suitable replacement I can grab at an auto parts store? Thanks, Jay

Can someone tell me the poop on K & N filters? I"ve had a couple of people tell me that I should not use a K & N filter on a stock bike because it will lean out the bike and make it run hotter!!! :ummm:
