Start with the Q&A - first thanks to all for the help so far. When you turn on your vmax - ignition on then to run do you get a deep ggrrrrrr sound for about 3 seconds? I know you can hear a little sound but this one is louder and deeper. I get this about 50% of the time. Sounds come from below...

Estimated crank & rear wheel HP for a 1985 vmax, ufo piped, jetted, k/n raceing filter. 12,342k, Then how about a stock 1985? crank then rear wheel? Do the 85's ( that's the one I have ) have that much more HP? Now lets have some fun....
