    Brake bleeding, made easy!

I have read on here before about bleeding brakes in this fashion, so I thought about giving it a try. I am installing R1 calipers and Galfer braided brake lines, front and rear. I also will change the clutch line. First off I had the pistons on the calipers all the way compressed into the...

    Made in U.S.A

Sharing an email here, I believe it makes a very good point, as I am made in the USA. how about you? This article will make you think before you make a purchase. "A physics teacher in high school, once told the students that while one grasshopper on the railroad tracks wouldn't slow a...

    Made my own frame braces

I made my own frame braces today out of some stuff I had lying around the house. I have really wanted some but couldnt justify the cost honestly...:confused2: So they are technically more like "racer bars" but you get the point, hopefully they will reduce frame flex a little in the twisties...

    Who made this jet?

Hi folks: I found 4 jets I have, but I can't figure out who made 'em... No markings are on the top (unthreaded) side, but the side has what looks like sort of a compressed star shape and the number "128" pressed into it. Any idea who/what these are? Thanks. Elimax

    Almost made a huge mistake

Well guys I almost did it, Almost sold my baby ! The wife hasn't been to happy with the ride on the Max and honestly comfort on the highway especially 2 up is lacking. I had been looking at a Goldwing but after straddling the monster I just couldn't see myself cruising it back and forth 2...

A confession must be made here....

I've spent the past year bragging that my '85 Max has 120,000 miles on it. I have to confess, that's not true. I "rounded the mileage up" a bit. It ACTUALLY changed 119,000 miles today. Wait a month or so, I'll get it up to 120,000 and the lies will become true. Actually, with all the...

My sissy bar I made... pos. FS

I made this sissy bar so the wife would feel safe more comfortable on the vmax. I got it done just in time for a 400 mile trip and she loved it. I will make more if there is interest in buying them. I know the other sissy bars out there probably look better, but they are not cheap. That is the...

First B-King exhaust that's made me drool...

Many of these things, to me, have sort of sounded like a hot-rodded Civic, but this one has a deeper growl. They sell it and provide a PCIII map that gets the FI tuning pretty close. http://youtube.com/watch?v=tDaUBLB-I50 This pipe's made for an '08 Hayabusa, but at least one guy has...

    made in the USA?

Was talking with friends and trying to think of how to help the country's economy, and came to the conclusion that we should buy made in the USA whenever possible. As I was taking grief for my Japanese Vmax, we decided to list ten things we were positive were made in the USA that the average...
