odometer

Anyone have luck replacing / reparing the odometer stem as in trip mileage counter stem. Mine is AWOL so Ive taped around to keep water out. Positive note...the odometer still works fine.

My odometer & trip meter quit working speedometer works fine though. I just wanted to check & see if any one has been able to get inside & fix one. I took the back off & it looked like it was sealed up pretty good did not want to break it where I had no speedometer at all.
