    dampner rod removal

    Any help!! I have a 93 that im replacing the fork seals, im following morleys video on the tear down, and im now stuck at the dampner removal.. I do not have the tool to fit inside so im looking for suggestions and any idea on the size inside the fork tube. ie the dampner size..:confused2: Thanks

    Oil Clearance - Crank and Connecting Rod

    (updated info - SKIP ahead to post on 7-21-2010 ) !!!!! Question for all you motor rebuilders.. My crank journals for the rods are mic'ing out at 1.4952 The rods I am using belonged to this Crank, the used bearings are mic'ing out at 1.4970" .. so approx .0018" oil clearance... Book...

    Tool to grip dampening rod

    Does anybody have the tool to grip that funky nut thingy on the dampening rod ?? I am trying to change my fork seals , and after watching the video that Sean made, The damn seals are glued in or something `cause I can`t get them to pop out and the alan bolt in the bottom just keeps spinning...

    Replacing rod bearings...

    Little bit of reading Ive done, this seems to be somewhat common on vmaxes.....Anything I should know before getting into it? Mine doesn't make a whole lot of noise until about 2500 rpm..Just sounds like a hammer tapping on the side of the engine.... ________ R27
