I went thru my collection of muck looking for some sort of crankcase sealer. For in-between the 2 crankcase halves. Can I use this stuff, or do I need to go out and buy something else? :ummm:

Sealant, casehalves, Yamabond, Threebond I will be joining my case halves shortly.. Which Yamabond,Threebond permatex..etc.. has everyone used/recommend? Buddy at local shop uses Yamabond 4..And sells it buy the case to the Harley shops :) Found on Ebay that Threebond has 1194.. Supposedly...

Before I install my ceramic coated hindle pipes - I need to find the best silicone sealant for the exhaust. I know it was leaking before I took it off - and I am going to do my best to ensure it is leak proof. Already ordered new OEM gaskets. ________ hotbox vaporizer

I cant get my hands on any yamabond or threebond.. is there a permatex product that words well for the top end cover (valve cover?) I read in another forum that permatex's THE RIGHT STUFF worked pretty well. any suggestions?

Yes I know, there is no sealant suppose to be there but it seems that when I took off my clutch reserve cover to replace it the gasket (big surprise on an 86 right, I think I have replaced every fu%^ing gasket on the bike so far:bang head: :bang head: ) was f#@ked. I have ordered a new gasket...
