    R/R Fh0220 or SH847 upgrade

    Mine's a 2007 with now 47k km. I couldn't find anything using search, so here is my asking about upgrading the voltage regulator to Mosfet FH0220, or even the bigger series regulator SH847. Where did you find the space to mount it? I got rid of the ignition coils running on C0PS, but still...

    I replaced the toasted Chinese knock-off regulator in Godzilla with another unit. Actually, this one (total cost - $14.95!) works better than the first one. It still gets slightly warm, but seems to keep the charging voltage a bit closer to 14.4V at the battery. So far, so good. I did a lot...
