Is it true that the 85 vmax is the only one that made 145 hp at the flywheel? If so why is this and how can I get my 95 up to the power level of the 85? Thanks, Joey

85 fires up after 21 years!

I couldn't believe my eyes and ears. But Mr Hubeer stopped by with his carbs just pulled from his 02 max. Popped them on, and after a bit of fiddling the 85 fired right off.:eusa_dance::punk: I still have a chubby.

I quit smoking 10 years ago why?

I walked outside, admired the ash on my truck. Good thing its all clean with a few coats of wax on it. I push the Vmax out of the garage and fire it up. Then I head out on the road. After an hour of no scenery, other than the blonde in the tube-top driving the miata, my lungs ached and my...

Lot's of nuts in the lower air cleaner box too. In addition, the clutch was dry as a bone, cleaned the master reservoir...

    Pad changes through the years?

:ummm:I own a '05 Max and am trying to shop brake pads on eBay. It seems that '85-'92 have the same pads (according to the ad) but I'm unable to find if there have been any changes after that. Perhaps all years use the same brake pads??? Any ideas?

What electrical parts swap between years?

I know the TCI boxes swap among the 80s but were changed in later years (why, different timing curve?). Are the pickup coils all the same? How about ignition coils, caps, and wires? How about wiring harness? Boost controller computer? Etc.
