I think, it is good idea for Gen2 owners to learn how to ride slow bike first and then they can buy Gen1!
BTW, I posted this info on youtube and some guy confirmed, he rode both.
I paid for my Vmax less than $500, first V1700 was in 09, sooner or later I'll buy one for $1000!!!
