1st Gen Storage Recommendations

What do you guys do for storage? I am looking for ideas for a semi-permanent storage on the luggage rack (OEM) of my vmax. Preferably something that can be locked - not a big fan of putting something on it, but I need the ability to run errands and pick things up.

fatmax bags are hard and lockable too

Fat Max! Their parts are top notch for hard bags. I have other accessories we sell but the fat max stuff is made specifically for the gen 1 bike.

I'm with Sean. I've been over to fatmax and seen them in person. They are way cool and actually don't look bad on Mr max.

I have the a problem with saddle bags hard or soft. That bar that supports the slip ons gets in the way of any bag I could place on the bike. If I lose the slip ons and change to another exhaust system / set up I could get a bag on the side. For the trip to Thunder I am going to use a T-Bag and hang it off my sissy bar. http://www.tbags.com/productsall.aspx
