$3500. 32K miles. valves adjusted a few miles back. I don't ride it much. 4 bikes is a bit too many to keep up with. Needs seat recovered. And a good detailing I'm sure. New sealed battery. Avon tires, tread good but age unknown. I believe one of the fork seals needs replacement.

bump? guess most people here already have a Max...that's y they r here...lol

am I asking a fair price? is the market soft, well the economy still sucks? am I just too far away for most buyers?

fishing for inputs here...guess I could start riding it more and the other bikes less...

Market is soft, mileage a little high, bad time of year, alot of signs of that bike being outside for quite some time, corrosion, ripped seat etc.........ALOT of nicer bikes out there in that price range. If you really want to sell it, fix the seat, detail it a bit and drop your price to 3K, then you'll get some bites! Good luck with your sale!

points well taken...bike came to me with the seat starting to rip...what;s typical cost to have a VMAX seat recovered? I would do all 3 pieces.

Most places are between 100-200 bucks, if you want to save a few bones, I have a nice front seat section I can sell you cheaper than that! Send me a PM if interested. Nice to see somebody take constructive critisizm without going off and losing their minds, good on you! :punk:

+1 I concur on every point, might wanna consider just hanging on to it your probably gonna take a beating on the price this time of year.

No, never bought a seat...been traveling too much last few months to even mess with the bike...nature of the job...

need to get motivated this spring...detail it and such...lol

Sorry, mine went to australia.
Actually this is probably the best place to list it first because of word of mouth and in my opinion it depends on where you live as to when the best time to buy and sell a motorcycle.
Also looks to me by the pics that you need some aluminum foil and a diet coke-
You would not believe what it will do to the rust spots you have-A fellow west texan taught me that. Good luck.
