2007 Yamaha V-Max with roughly 7000 miles. I bought it from the original owner with about 6300 on it. It seemed like the week after I bought it my life got too busy for motorcycles, so it has kind of just sat. I still start it every week or two and ride it maybe once a month. It has a brand new battery and fuel filter. The tires have really good tread, but the back tire will leak after about a week. It's never leaked completely down, but will just need air. $6500

The bike I've been looking for, just not the right timing.I would need to sell my gen II first

GLWTS

Bad hips, the gen II is so wide and I'm so small that it hurts my hips.
And I'm just finishing up building a car so motorcycle seat time will be limited. If ( and if it sits in the corner until I have grand kids that's ok) If i sell it I want an 85,05 or 07.
I wanted a gen II , I did the seat so I could get one , I got one and loved it but I'm getting older and I'll enjoy the car more.

Yes, the Gen II is a long stretch. I'm 5'10" and cannot stand flat-footed on a Gen II. Getting old is a b____h. One of my friends, a die-hard H-D enthusiast, is now on a trike because he's also a smaller guy, and it's much easier for him riding two-up.

The older I get, and seeing how people behave behind the wheel, makes me more-leery of riding as-much.

I edited my question as I see it was answered in the post I missed.

WOW, I'll be 60 in June and I just bought my Gen 2 in April, you you say, "you did the seat" I'm assuming that you had it rebuilt. if so who did it and was the original any better than the Gen 1's?
Ron

He started building Gen1 Maxgasser seats so he could buy the Gen2 bike. Rick hand builds each and every Maxgasser right in in his own shop and puts out a very nice looking and quality seat.

Thanks Bbrian, the Maxgasser has just about run its coarse , only five left to build and I don't even know when that will be. I'm caught up on orders with one here to ship out after the Illinois rally , and a couple custom one offs for other bikes.

I'm looking forward to finishing my car , cruising with that and doing some long neglected work around the house. The seats took all my spare time for long enough.
