2009 number triangle thing?

where do the triangle number plates come from...anyone? my 2009 is dated 11/08

It came from the dealer if you were the 9th person to order a 2009 Vmax you would have received a frame plate the number 9 stamped on it . Nothing to do production line order ..Pretty dumb I think.. I found the owner of the one I had that matched his vin number and gave it to him
