Looks complete and not disassembled.
Wish I was close. Have 2 now. Picking up a GL1500 complete parts bike tomorrow also. Got the Orange 81' Goldwing up for sale and may be trading it for a 99' GL1500 this up coming weekend. Will be going Darkside on that 99'. Just sold my 85' v65 Magna.

I like orange GW!!! 👍
Computer codes for 84-85 fuel injected GW are read from blinking LED on PCM under top box. I am pretty sure 86 Accords had same code blinker.
Firemedic, make him offer, maybe he'll sell for 500-700, so you'll have some gas money. Injected GWs are rare, but it doesn't mean they will go higher than carb ones.

Yeah, just what I need, another bike! I do enjoy the cheap bikes you're finding.

I didn't think GW had fuel injection until the 1500 came out in 88 ?

The Limited edition (GL1200L) was a one (or two? I forget) year wonder in the mid 80s. I think it was more of a proof of concept really

I wouldn't touch one with a 20 foot pole 40 years on. You're never going to find parts for them. As far as I can recall the FI system was specific to these and shares nothing with the 1500.

84 was LTD, 85 was SE(?)
Mine (85) didn't run until I hit fuel pump with a hammer couple times. That was it.

84 and 85 had fuel injected models, 88 and up 1500 GW had carbs until next model (???) There is GWW guy here, he knows better.

GPZ1100 superbike had fuel injection before that (1981, upgraded to DFI, 1982) and a KZ1000 shaft drive Fuel Injection model (1980) before that.
