Isn't that purty! Wonder how 2nd gear is?
2nd gear is fine FM. This is the bike I bought from Cali, had shipped east. Sold it and here it is about 3,000miles later on FB Marketplace. A very good bike and nice example of a pure stock '85 VMax.

Nice bike! I have almost the same bike (86), mine is from Cali as well, now it's down in Florida. had the whole bike rebuilt including second gear. Had our man remove all the Cali emissions from the bike and retuned, big power and very fast! There is a man down our way that specializes in Vmax's

Thanks. Next time I'm in the area, I'll stop by. Does he have a business name? Or is it a sole proprietor? I think it's MotoWorx & Marine. The pics on their site have a mix of old & new. I liked the Cannonball Run Thor bike. I also have pics of one of the bikes on the website, a H-D once campaigned by Mert Lawwill, pics I took at the World Golf Village/St. Augustine FL classic bike show.
