Are there two hoses underneath to the air box? The larger at the rear side of the box just in front of the seat connects below to the vboost at top of engine . There is a smaller male end at the front of the box.
If there is smaller hose where does it connect too?
I have an air leak and can't find it ....I'm hoping I might have stummled on to something. :confused2:

Hey Jimandc, welcome to the Vmax Forum. I was told that the male end at the front of the air box is a drain in case water gets in the air box. No hose connects to it. Any air coming in thru this hole still has to go thru the filter; so not a true air leak.

Spray a little starting fluid around each one of the intakes. This will help narrow it down a bit.
Also check to make sure your carbs and airbox is on tight. Often you'll feel a pop when putting them on but they're not fully seated. Pretty common if your not used to taking them off and putting them on.
