I have one, I had mentioned to Sean and if I remember correctly you don't gain anything from them... You see my bike is still in pcs, that is why I cannot give you a answer from a user! Gannon

Not too heavy. Just doesn't work as well.

I believe my bike's got one of those on too - came with it. Never noticed any problems with it, and it cools just fine, although I can't compare as I've never run anything else.

My bike came with one also. Side by side to a stock fan, mine sounds a bit "slower", like it's moving more air. It works just fine, but I think an override switch is really the ticket to keeping your motor cool. Putting the fan on as soon as I get in traffic with the aluminum blade, the temp needle will never rise past horizontal, or maybe halfway up the scale.

But Grim Cycles is a good seller....fast shipping and reasonable prices. Got my stator from them. Showed up in like 2 days.
