I know there are plenty of animal threads around here but I done a small search & did not see them. The only kids I have are my animals & there kids to me so here is my dog buddy. I guess this is what happens when you raise them off a bottle. Please feel free to add more pictures as I know animals are like kids to more than just me.

Thanks glad he is a medium size dog at 70 lbs since he thinks he is a Pomeranian. It could be worse like a rot or great dane. His mom died at a week old so I am mom & dad

I get what you mean about raising and bonding. I took two weeks vacation when I got Josey so I could make sure she was MINE!

Your pics depict my favorite thing to do, Veg out on the couch with whatever dog we have that's available, which is four, a Pit, Vor, which is my Daughters, The JRT, Josey who is my baby, and Michelle's two Dachshunds Kelsea and Harley who aren't pictured because they spend most of the time digging for god knows what underneath the deck out back.

Vor the Pit is the biggest Wussy of them all, my daughter rescued him from a near death state off the side of the highway in Austin. He's been grateful ever since. Josey is super sweet to ALL people and kind of an asshole to some dogs, I don't trust her for shit anywhere except at home or on a leash.
The Dacshunds? Well, they're Dacshunds.

Nice Rusty ! All the pictures of what I called his brother are on my other PC which is screwed up. I miss Rocky . I have a passion for animals dogs more than cats but we do have the 2 cats here we rescued to.

I remember you talking about Rocky, it sucks they have such short lives.

I don't know what it is about having a dog actually LIKE me that kind of validates my whole existence, but it does....

I understand completely Buddy is the biggest baby in the whole world with Christine & I but after that its all about protecting. I have had a few people rag on me why I wanted a dog like that but I have no problem with it at all. After his mom died at a week old & My father & I turned in to mom that's the way he turned out & I am perfectly fine with it.

Shala's dog, Buddy, is a therapy dog and goes to work with her most days of the week. If she rides her bike a couple times, and doesn't take Buddy, the residents get angry with her for not bringing him. Here's a few pics of a small portion of our menagerie.

I'm sure nobody knows this but I'm kinda fond of cats, dogs too but maybe cats a little more. Tuxedo cats especially, they're a very special bunch, if you are good in this life you may come back as a cat....if you're really good, you might come back as a Tuxedo cat!! (The way I see it anyhow!) :biglaugh:

First pic is Remi bringing her ball for me to throw, second pic is Remi & Reba patrolling the stone wall, or Sako & Venzetti as I call them cause anything they scare up usually comes to a bad end!

I love the pics. I take tons of them of my kids so no such thing as to many specially with as that don't have kids & our animals are our kids.
