84-90 = 10.8
91-98 = 11.7
99-04 = 10.8
2005 = 11.7

Why the flucuation? and also from what Iv'e read, 107-113 rwhp is what is the norm for an 85, not reported 120. I hate the fact that people think just because you read it on the net...ergo it's true. My 85 has 12,500 K on it w/ ufo pipes, K/N filter, and ?? jet kit. Paid to much for it but love it. I'm going to dyno it and am praying for 120 rwhp. am I unrealistic? ( I know dyno vary )
:bang head:

Thanx

I've seen a lot of posts here from guys who are dynoing 120+ with nothing more than headers & a jet kit. I'll bet you will break 120 as well. If not, proper re-jetting will prolly get you there. I'm a stocker myself, but there are many here who have tons of experience they can share to get you dialed in.

My '99, stock engine with Mark's pipes and oem jets dyno'd 117.1 last week at PCW. I would think your '85 should reach 120, maybe a little more.

why more than your 99? what should you do on a dyno? just let'er rip or what?

my first max was a 92 dynoed @ 115 rwhp ran 11.18 @ 123 at lebanon valley in 2001,Im hoping to get my current max (130 rwhp) to run a 10.99 or better in the spring.check out this link itll give you an idea of what you might run,but you gotta be on the light.
